Anonymity: You can navigate anonymously on all public szenaris web pages. We only collect statistical, non-personal data (see also the section entitled “Collection, Processing and Use of Data”) to improve our Internet presence.

When we wish to collect, process or use personal data from your visit, we inform you of this. You decide what personal data we receive and for what purpose we may process and use it.

We collect data through public websites for person-related processing and use this only if you decide of your own accord to input this data or expressly declare your consent. Details of this kind are mostly used for establishing contacts or subscribing to our szenaris Letter.

Details you give for these purposes lead to storage of this data with szenaris GmbH or a cooperation partner engaged by us.

szenaris GmbH forms a “safe haven” worldwide for person-related data. By means of a binding corporate provision, protection of your personality rights is also guaranteed should the data need to be processed abroad. When we – for the purpose of improving the individual product range and our services – use user data from your visit to szenaris websites and wish to consolidate this with your customer data, we shall obtain your express consent for this in the course of the Internet dialogue. Should you not wish to give your consent, you can end the dialogue.

It is not possible to generate personal user profiles. The stored data will only be evaluated for statistical purposes. No data, nor even excerpts thereof, will be passed on to third parties.

We correct and complete stored data as soon as any change comes to our knowledge. If necessary, we also notify data recipients of this. As a member of a closed user group, you yourself have direct influence on the quality of your personal data.

We delete stored data when the statutory or contractual retention period has expired or if the data is no longer required.

We do not sell or lease any personal data, including data from user groups or e-mail lists, to persons or offices / agencies outside szenaris GmbH. We may use the data internally for advertising purposes unless you have objected to such use. The data may be passed on for company-related advertising purposes of szenaris GmbH as long as you have given your written consent. We observe the restrictions here set by data protection and competition law.

Upon request we are happy to send you our public code of procedures (“öffentliches Verfahrensverzeichnis”) in line with § 4 e of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). On request we can also inform you in writing whether and what personal data has been stored about you.

We have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data of our employees / customers / suppliers that we have stored from accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised parties. The security levels are constantly monitored in cooperation with security experts and adapted to new security standards.

Depending on their function, staff at szenaris GmbH are required to respect

• and, where relevant, insurance confidentiality.

Should we be obliged by a legal regulation or court order to transfer data, we will collaborate with the relevant authorities.

szenaris GmbH ensures the “Privacy Policy” is observed. Adherence to szenaris data protection and information security guidelines is monitored by an internal audit. The systems are constantly monitored for intrusions.

Authorised access is also randomly checked to ascertain the purpose of business.

This Privacy Policy relates to all szenaris GmbH websites.

If szenaris GmbH launches new products or services or if data protection and information security technology develops further, this can affect the “Privacy Policy”. We therefore reserve the right to amend or supplement the policy as required. We make every effort to post any modification forthwith on this page to ensure you are always aware of what data we collect, how we use it and under what circumstances we disclose it. Should we in future use person-related data in a way different to the one used at the time the data was collected, we shall post a notice to this effect on this page.
