  • Maintenance and repair of mass spectrometers

    For the instruction of service engineers in the maintenance and repair of mass spectrometers, using a 3D model, the user can undertake maintenance work or exchange spare parts on the virtual device. This Web Based Training (WBT) is part of a comprehensive concept, which consists of practice and lessons plus e-learning elements (Blended Learning).

  • dpa platform

    Software training to instruct several hundred worldwide situated editors how to operate a newly introduced research system. The users are quickly and effectively schooled in handling the system using guided exercises. The Web Based Training (WBT) was embedded into a Learning Management System (LMS) which was optimised to meet the requirements of the agency.

  • Criminological crime scene work

    Providing practical knowledge alongside the work at the crime scene, developed for the Bildungsinstitut der Polizei Niedersachsen. On the basis of case studies, the user works out the procedure when arriving at a crime scene, i.e. after a break-in. This includes questioning of witnesses, securing evidence and proof. The learning program has been embedded into a Learning Management System (LMS).

  • Safety at work online

    Instruction of employees of the Bundeswehr regarding health and safety at work. The learning program enables the users to work at any time and anywhere on subjects such as fire protection, securing loads or first aid. Every subject is completed with a test for which the successful user receives a certificate.

    The project has been awarded with the Corporate Media Award 2009.

  • Air Traffic Control

    Schooling of German Air Force air traffic controllers. The learning contents include design and function of planes and helicopters, air craft separation and air space clearance plus the basics and techniques of navigation.

    The learning contents are conveyed graphically through the use of numerous animations. Exercises and tests enable an independent check of the knowledge acquired.

  • LEXION harvester operators

    Schooling of LEXION harvester operators. Part of the learning program is the handling of the Claas Electronic Board Information System (CEBIS), which is a common feature in many agricultural machines.

    With photographs, 2D and 3D graphics, animations, videos and guided exercises, the users receive comprehensive instruction on the system.

    The program is available in the following languages: American, German, English, French, Russian.

    Various Computer Based Training programs (CBT) were developed for the German Navy.
    Examples:

    Fire Defence: What must happen when there is a fire on board ship?
    The emphasis of this Computer Based Training (CBT) is video sequences which illustrate the procedure when extinguishing a fire.

    Leak Defence: What measures must be taken when there is a leak?
    In this Computer Based Training (CBT), the user is requested to build brace supports in a virtual ship's hull in order to seal the leak.

    Duty on Board: Which codes of conduct and ceremonies apply on board a ship?
    In this Computer Based Training (CBT), the user is instructed with photographic images and video sequences.
