Fit4Age – Future-oriented products and services for the demographic challenges

Fit4Age Logo

Demographic change is leading to an ever-rising average age of the population and, simultaneously, the average age of young people able to work is decreasing. To this end, the Fit4Age research group is seeking technical solutions in order to give the aging the possibility of an active life.

Our work is in the following areas:

  • "Fit4Work": People remain in work for longer. With technical, innovative, flexible and economic concepts, older employees are to be or stay integrated into industry in an efficient and sustainable way.
  • "Fit4Use": Socio-scientific consultation in the development and evaluation of age-based technology is the main focus. For this, older people are integrated into the development process.
