• S = Self Test
  Developer immediately tests development results
• M = Module Test
  Developer tests the entire work package
• I = Implement Test
  The developer and a member of the developer’s team test the work package together in connection with the overall development work
• L = Lead Test
  Project manager conducts internal acceptance test for the work package or the overall project
• E = End Test
  Final overall test, including logical and orthographical aspects and delivery status

SMILE focuses on testing individual work packages in a timely manner.
