GNOM PC based Virtual Reality Diving Robot Simulation
In order to be able to safely practice the control of the GNOM diving robot, a faithfully detailed 3D model is placed in a virtual underwater world, including appropriate objects such as hulls, rocks or other obstacles.
The vehicle exhibits realistic diving characteristics through the physicalisation of the model.
The diving robot is controlled in the virtual world in the same way that it is in the real world, using a gamepad.
