SZENARIS Develops AI for Motion Detection

Within the framework of the BMWi-funded research project “KI-SIGS”, SZENARIS has set out to develop artificial intelligence. KI-SIGS stands for “Artificial Intelligence – Space for Intelligent Health Systems”. Within the project, partners from Bremen, Hamburg, and Schleswig-Holstein are setting up an AI ecosystem for the health sector.

The ecosystem includes adaptive medical systems, robotic assistance systems and smart living assistants. SZENARIS is involved in the sub-project “Movement Training”, which is led by Prof. Dr. Frank Steinicke at the University of Hamburg. This project focuses on the development and provision of interactive AI tools for movement training. Together with the partners, SZENARIS will develop intelligent avatars or robot systems that provide feedback about (in-)correctly performed movements in a natural way. The aim is to enable patients to carry out their movement training independently and correctly, thus promoting their health.
