SZENARIS Supports HAW in the PflegeDigital 2.0 Project
The PflegeDigital 2.0 project is a research project of the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW) to promote digitalization in nursing. The aim of the project is to develop and test innovative digital solutions for nursing training in order to improve the care of those in need of it and make the work of nursing staff easier. The focus is particularly on topics such as multimodal learning for people with and without a migration background and the supportive use of virtual reality.
A total of 22 learning modules were created in the project, with which 26 essential work processes in nursing training can be learned interactively. The multilingual web-based training (WBT) courses support nursing staff in improving their German language skills and expanding their specialist knowledge. They deal with topics such as administering medication, inserting a transurethral indwelling bladder catheter, post-operative wound care or the care of a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG). The solution can be used both in preparation for and alongside classroom teaching.
SZENARIS has been supporting HAW in the implementation of these WBTs since 2020 in order to improve the training of nursing staff in Germany and make an important contribution to the integration of people with a migration background.
