On October 01, the "Living Lab" of the DRZ e.V. ("Deutsches Rettungsrobotik-Zentrum e.V.") opened in Dortmund. In the course of this festive event, SZENARIS was also welcomed as a new member. The competence center, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), enables research and development of mobile robot systems for civil emergency response.
As part of LEARNTEC xChange - the online format of Europe's largest trade fair for digital learning - the delina Award ceremony took place on June 23, 2021. The delina Award is considered an innovation prize for digital education and is awarded for concepts and projects that combine modern technologies and media with everyday learning. Due to Corona, the award ceremony had to take place online. This year, SZENARIS was awarded together with the Federal Agency for Technical Relief in the category "Education and Training" for the system "VR Dike Defense Simulator".
The development of complex e-learning and simulation solutions requires precise compliance with a large number of quality guidelines. In the delina Awards 2021, the virtual reality dike defense simulator developed by SZENARIS and the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW) has made it to the nominees, making it one of the projects worthy of an award.
